The proposed primary election of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, slated to commence in less than 24 hours has been postponed over the inability of President Muhammadu Buhari to sign the electoral bill into law.
The primaries would have commence with the State House of Assembly on May 21st, 2022 to be followed by House of Reps on May 22, and the Senate and governorship on 23rd and 26th respectively in May.
An yet to be confirmed report disclosed that the State Houses of Assembly Primaries would be held on May 22,concurrently with the House of Representatives.
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta state who frowned at the information said, it will be very difficult to conduct the States House of Assembly and House of Representatives election at same time, unless the delegates would be divided.
